EMST/TIFF, 2024
Each year, I am commissioned to create a film about the PCAI Artist Residency in Tilos, capturing the dynamic art practices of various artists working in the context of the island’s unique environment and culture.
The residency, which is part of the Just Go Zero Tilos project, emphasizes circular economy principles and regenerative thinking in architecture, design, crafts, materials, and urban design. This project, powered by Polygreen and implemented in collaboration with the Municipality of Tilos, envisions Tilos as the world’s first zero-waste island.
I have had the privilege of working with artists such as The New Raw, Hypercomf, Resolve Collective, and POoR Collective. Through my lens, I aim to not only document their work but also capture the ways in which art, landscape, and community intersect — framing a cinematic space where these dialogues unfold.
